To all blogers out there

to all the mini comunity out there, and to all blogers reading this:
If there is something I dislike on the  Google bloger, its the stupid letters with which you have to verify your humanity.
But what can a poor human being like me, whose automatic Alphabeth is not the Latin letters do?
instead of one word, now we get two, which are so shaky and impossible to identify. these have become a pain in the .......for me.
I canceled this option and I know about someone else who understood my difficulty and cancelled as well.
What do you think? Am I overdoing this?
Love you all.

  1. I SOOOO agree with you on this one!!!! The sad part is that sometimes I can't read the letters. Am I a robot?

  2. I took this off my blog (I hope it's worked) because it is a pain in the butt. I have difficulty working out what the letters are =0(

  3. I canceled mine too but am having fun guessing upon commenting, how many times it will take to hit it right. Usually I succeed first time by moving my chair backwards. The distorted letters look better from a distance. If you can't beat them join them is my moto.

  4. I felt much better when I read about the ReCAPTCHA project (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ReCAPTCHA) which "supplies subscribing websites with images of words that optical character recognition (OCR) software has been unable to read. The subscribing websites (whose purposes are generally unrelated to the book digitization project) present these images for humans to decipher as CAPTCHA words, as part of their normal validation procedures. They then return the results to the reCAPTCHA service, which sends the results to the digitization projects."

  6. Irritating...YES. I'm not sure how you cancel it, though. I don't have to enter one on Oese's site!
    Hmmm.

  7. I don't had any trouble since I canceled, so I think some more could do this!
    Good you mention this!

  8. I hate the new CAPTCHA, the old one was fine with just one legible word. The new one with two barely decipherable words is horrible. It takes me two or three tries sometimes. Preventing robots from spamming your website is great, but the new CAPTCHAs are very annoying for humans. I removed mine as well.

Doris - here is how to remove
Design > Settings > Post and Comments > Show word verification? Change to "No", then "Save Settings"
