Organic or rather eqlectic?

Since I finaly had one decent couch( from the previous post) and a lovely small checked master piece, I decided to move forward and show you this:

Goods : Rugs are from Glenda of Peppercorn mini blog.coffee table and renovated couch are Ebay. Jar and elephant as well as wooden hand made back pannel are a present from my friend Naomi , flooring are cork and beautiful photos from Dalit. Plant and dog miniatures are locally made in Tivon my home town, purchased on owr last art fair two weeks ago.Desk is a rescued throw away ( excuse my English).Wall paper is William Morris.

Sofa Makeover

Once I won a shabby, not so chick Petite Princess curved sofa. It was very cheep- So I was happy to strip the pieces of the plastic structure and...... forget about it for a while.
But I saw the magnificent minis by Mid Century designer Paul MacAlister on this wonderful blog :
http//modernminihouses.blogspot.com/  .It gave me an idea just how I could give this sofa a makeover.
I quite like the result. I hope you do too.Does it resemble fabric?

She has come a long way....

She is actually from the World Under-from New Zealand . Glenda has sent me this lovely Heidi Ott doll. she was supposed to be a granny, but I thought differently. ?She might be a bit chubby for nowadays teens but she can easily be a sweet sixteen, Don't you agree? She will get shoes as well.

To honor dear Glenda Howell , I'll name her Glenda from now on .

Swimming pool consruction- the deck is almost done!

After a long rest  in the mini world due to school work, I 'm back!
I've almost finished the deck for my swimming pool, it took a lot of thinking and trying...
I was looking for the right material and the most suitable tools.
I choose bamboo skewers 1 cm wide for the decking .

I got this cutter on Ebay which was a huge disappointment.
It isn't strong enough even  for this bamboo( let alone wood) and not sharp enough.I wouldn't recommend it !!!!!!!







The local stores saved this project .

Swimming pool

Some of you would not believe this will happen in 2011- well, well well.....
here are the first steps toward it. the swimming pool is done as you can see, now I play around the deck's idea.
I found these barbecue skewers which would fit perfectly ....
I have a dilemma : shall I put the deck straight or diagonal. What do you think?

We love cupcakes

" I love cupcakes, especially the pink ones....... I wish someone will get me a few for my birthday." My niece declared quite close to her 20th birthday.

So her aunt got busy making a few, eternally sweet out of papiermache.

I enjoyed  so much making them, and she loved getting her present.
What you see ,when enlarged, is more or less life size.

The green "Tutu skirt  " and the" Mini cake on a cupcake" are my favorites!

The pink one and the tall one both decorated with cherries are my nieces choise-

Justly so ,after all - she wanted PINK....
